God’s People Helping People is a Bible Study that, in some ways, has returned us to our roots. This small group of individuals who have reentered society following their time at Austin Transitional Center (ATC) meets at TCI Coatings, Inc. in North Austin every Sunday and Wednesday night. The weekly gatherings are a time of reflection, exploration, support, encouragement and prayer alongside other men and women who understand firsthand the challenges that one another faces on a daily basis.
Leaving the relative stability of ATC is often a daunting and formidable task for attendees of Freedom Church. Having a place where attendees can come together every week and be reminded of the hope of the Gospel has proven to be a vital component for a Spirit-filled and successful transitioning into their new lives of freedom.
